Hey there! I’m Pratik Bachhav, a Product Designer 2 at Intuit. I craft seamless experiences for customers to connect with Intuit Experts through the AI-powered Virtual Expert Platform (VEP). I focus on Appointments and Expert Schedule Management, making complex workflows feel effortless.
Previously, I helped shape Phyllo from day one, designing products for creators and developers. My work spans from high-fidelity prototypes that accelerate decisions to scientific illustrations published in research journals.
I thrive on solving complex problems, thinking in systems, and bringing fresh perspectives. My process is patient, iterative, and precise, making me a reliable partner in any fast-paced team. Colleagues say I challenge the status quo, foster collaboration, and always follow through.
Beyond design, I love making small games, painting, and exploring new tools. My background in Computer Science from BITS-Pilani fuels my passion for UX and digital product design.
If you’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented designer who makes work fun—let's connect!

From a young age, I’ve always been a creator—whether it was sketching my favorite characters, building Ironman-like gloves from cardboard, or figuring out how to make broken toy motors work. I’ve never been one to sit still, always tinkering and making things come to life. As a kid, I dreamed of becoming an animator, and I even spent a summer at a small animation studio in Nashik. I absolutely loved it! But as I grew older, life had other plans. I topped the state exams, got into BITS-Pilani, and chose Computer Science. It felt like the logical choice. But deep down, I was always seeking something more creative.
That’s when the universe gave me a nudge. I was introduced to Product Design—a perfect blend of creativity and logic. After exploring graphic design and UX through online courses and side projects, I dove headfirst into the world of design. One of my first major projects at BITS was a Food Service App, which allowed students to rate and review their meals. The app quickly gained traction and was used by 1000+ students every year. That feeling of creating something people genuinely appreciated was both surreal and inspiring.

Fast forward to today, I’m a Product Designer 2 at Intuit, working on the Virtual Expert Platform, where I help people connect with financial experts. It’s a constant thrill to tackle complex design challenges with a talented team of product managers, engineers, and designers. My colleagues often describe me as a diligent, creative problem-solver who loves to challenge the status quo. They say I bring a unique perspective to the table, always diving deep to uncover insights that improve the user experience. And, it’s true—I believe design is about intentionality. A good design should make people’s lives easier, more delightful, and sometimes even a little more magical.
But here’s the twist—before diving into design, I actually took a Personality Assessment Test (the kind they give to high school students) and to my surprise, Product Design was at the top of my list. At the time, I thought, “How cool would that be?” Little did I know, years later, I would be living that exact dream. It feels like the universe had a plan all along.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me creating in other ways—sketching, painting, or experimenting with new creative tools. I also made a small indie game with a friend. These days, I’m an F1 racing fan (ferrari and Carlos Sainz all the way), and I recently got my hands on a Ferrari F1 car model livery that was gifted to Carlos Sainz by Ferrari. It’s gorgeous. On top of that, I’m hitting the gym regularly, and I’m proud to say the compliments are starting to roll in—finally!
I’m also teaching myself to play keyboard, which is both challenging and exciting. It’s all part of my constant drive to learn and grow. Because as a designer, I believe that creativity never stops—it’s a journey that evolves every day.

Looking ahead, I’m diving deeper into Data-Informed Product Design, taking courses, reading, and upskilling to make more impactful, innovative designs. I’m excited to continue collaborating with some of the best people in the world, working on projects that matter and bring real value to people’s lives.
At the end of the day, I’m here to build things that people love, to create experiences that spark joy and make life just a little bit easier. If you’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented designer who makes work fun—let’s connect!
